DEADWOOD REMOVAL or 'DEAD WOODING'
The removal of dead wood in a trees canopy, commonly known as 'dead wooding' is a method of tree work carried out using rope and harness techniques. These techniques help our operatives to negotiate the crown structure to remove dead limbs and branches that may cause damage or injury to underlying property such as roofing and vehicles or even pedestrians that may pass underneath.
Dead wood removal is a cost effective way of also deploying a tree inspection to check for cracks in branches or poor unions that may become problematic in the future. Whilst our climbers are removing dead wood from the trees canopy they are also constantly examining the trees complex branch structure for faults that you may not be aware of from the ground.
